Now that we’re reaching the end of another year, I believe we should close 2011 with two thoughts … well, maybe two and a half.
What a fantastic year 2011 has been! Thanks to the strong, consistent and continued support from you, our valued customers, it’s truly been a great year. Many of you had a record-breaking year with respect to transaction volumes, online adoption and system up-time. Our own product team released several innovative features these last 12 months, like Air Filtering and Express Checkout, and it was accomplished with system uptime above 99%. This consistency likely helped contribute to the record-breaking performances in transaction volumes and online adoption that we grew accustomed to seeing.
Happy Holidays! Year-end is also a time to rest, relax and very importantly, stop, unplug and take time to appreciate all the blessings we have been given. Regardless of how you celebrate the holidays, I hope you take time to appreciate your family and friends and have a HAPPY HOLIDAY season.
2012 will be even better! We have a lot of momentum and I’m excited to jump into 2012! With our GetThere EMEA Summit in London in January and Global Summit in Chicago in March, I know 2012 will start off with a bang. But this could only be a “half thought” because Thought #2 needs to happen first, so again … I hope you have a great holiday season!
