Congratulations to GetThere and Sabre Virtual Meetings President Suzanne Neufang for making Buying Business Travel's "Hot List" of the Top 30 Influencers who matter the most in business travel. Suzanne joins this exclusive list alongside global leaders such as Sir Richard Branson and Google Co-Founder and CEO Larry Page. You can read about it here on BBT's website.
Citing her more than 20 years of experience in the telecom and travel industries, the UK-based publication recognized her as a leading voice in travel technology, overseeing the global operations of both GetThere and Sabre Virtual Meetings.
"What a nice surprise to be on the BBT list this year," said Neufang. "My ultra-capable GetThere/SVM global team, our innovative customers, and my volunteer role as ACTE president helped make this recognition possible. It’s a great sign that our corporate segment-facing businesses at Sabre are getting noticed outside the U.S."
Also making the Top 30 list of influential technophiles was Mary Bastrentaz, who serves as senior director of Global Travel and Events at Accenture. Mary was not only voted the 2012 BTN International Travel Manager of the Year, but is a loyal GetThere and Sabre GDS customer.
Congratulations to Mary and Suzanne, and thanks to BBT for recognizing GetThere as a world leader in business travel!

Committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our global operations and to promoting sustainable business practices in travel and tourism.
