A fast start

What an exciting week at GBTA for GetThere and Virtual Meetings! To start the week, Fast Company and GBTA named us the winner of its Business Traveler Innovation Awards in the category of travel management. This sort of recognition kicked off GBTA for us with a lot of energy. Our booth was buzzing with travel buyers wanting to see this great new product. To borrow a phrase I've heard repeatedly watching the Olympics, we are off to a fast start.

We recently partnered with Glowpoint to make its 45,000 privately-owned rooms available through the GetThere Virtual Meetings system. Additionally, we've secured public room connections to Regus and similar providers so that customers can connect to private or public rooms for their video conferencing needs. The combination of the Glowpoint privately-owned rooms with the public room creates a dynamic marketplace for you to shop, schedule and meet to make collaboration happen.
